There are several benefits to becoming a member of our organization. One is the camaraderie and networking of our members. Another is the professional development that is offered by our meetings and the opportunity to stay current in the field. Finally, many of us feel energized by being around people who are similarly committed to developing appreciation of different cultures. Below is a list of benefits:

Who Can Join?We invite anybody interested in intercultural issues to join SIETAR DC. Typically, our members have degrees in international relations, anthropology, area studies, language studies, or training/organization development. If you are new to the intercultural field you may want to check out books by Edward Hall, Geert Hofstede, and Fons Trompenaars. Their ideas often form the basis for the presentations and discussions at our meetings.
How Can You Join?To join we need a completed membership form and $25 for the yearly dues. You have the option to pay via check at a meeting or via PayPal by clicking on the button below.
